Rare 1st Edition "Confederate Edged Weapons" by Wm. Albaugh

When I started studying and collecting Civil War artifacts back in the 1980s, I strived to acquire publications which I could use to reference the thousands of items associated with the Civil War. One that eluded me for several years was “Confederate Edged Weapons” by William Albaugh; finally, I was able to obtain a used copy, and still remains in my library.

I recently acquired another copy of this long, out of print book and am offering it here. It is a first edition 1960, Confederate Edged Weapons, by William Albaugh III. It is hard-bound, 198 pages with illustrations and text. Sixty years ago, this was a truly ground-breaking text written by the well-known pioneer in the field, and even today it is often referred to.

This scarce book is in very nice condition with only some minor fading and foxing, typical for its age. Everything is tight and there are no tears or separations, just an excellent copy to add to your library.
