This is another interesting piece being offered, it is a mid-19th century wooden barrel bank, ca. 1845 – 1865. It measures 2 ¼” with a diameter of 2 ¼” and the two pieces snap together. Inside are two coins, one is an Indian head cent dated 1862 and the other is a flying eagle cent dated 1858.
This piece is in nice condition with no cracks. There is a partial very faint stamp which appears to be “….CLOS….”. This would make a great addition to just about any collection.
