Early Gettysburg Pamphlet, circa 1930s, great advertisements

Product Description

This is a nice early Gettysburg pamphlet, circa 1930s, it is titled “A Short Story of the Battle of Gettysburg”. It measures 8” x 3 ½” and has 32 pages with a fold out battlefield map. It gives the basics on the battle, but what is really interesting is all of the early advertising.

There are ads for the Gettysburg Hotel, Lee Museum, Shields Museum, Cyclorama, etc. There is also a full-page advertising the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, being held June 26 – July 6. This little book is in excellent condition – no separations, tears, or folds.
