Confederate Five-Dollar bill, September 1861 (SOLD)

Out of Stock

$45.00

Product Description

This is another nice item being offered, it is an original Confederate Five-Dollar bill (T36), dated September 2, 1861. This Confederate note shows a Commerce seated on a bale of cotton in the center and a sailor in the lower left corner. It is cut-cancelled and has strong signatures with hand-written serial numbers in red ink. There is no design on the back.

As you can see in the pictures, this bill has been well circulated, but remains intact. However, it is fully authentic and would make a nice addition to any Civil War collection and it has been priced accordingly for its condition. (FREE SHIPPING)
