Civil War glazed pottery Two-Tone Food Jar. The diameter at the bottom is 4 1/2", the diameter of the mouth is 2 1/2" and it stands 6 1/2" high. It remains in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. There is a faint marking near the bottom, but unable to make it out. These jars are commonly found in Civil War camps. It would go nice in a camp display or with a soldiers personal effects.
