Large Brass Buckle from Gettysburg Battlefield. Click photo and "Detailed Description". (SOLD)
This heavy Brass Buckle measures approximately 2 1/4" x 2". This unique piece was recovered along the Taneytown Road, just south of Little Round Top. The exact use of this buckle is uncertain; it could have been for a soldier's waist belt, horse harness, or an artillery accroutrement.
This piece remains in very solid condition and as a beautiful aged patina to the brass. It also comes with the glass top display case pictured. This is an excellent opportunity to own a "true" piece of Gettysburg history. (SOLD)
