This is an original train ticket from the Reading Railway to attend the dedication of the Pennsylvania Monument in Gettysburg. It is for the shuttle service between the Gettysburg Station and Hancock Ave. The dedication ws to take place on Tuesday, September 27, 1910 and the round trip fare is 20 cents.

This is somewhat of a rare piece. The only other example I seen is in my private collection which I also used in my book Battle of Gettysburg - The Relics, Artifacts & Souvenirs (see pictures). It is in very nice condition, only some slight fading from being over 100 years old. It is displayed in a plastic sleeve with a photo copy of the Pennsylvania Monument during its construction. (SOLD)
