Civil War Tin Flask Container. Click photo and "Detailed Description". (SOLD)
This is a Civil War era Tin Flask Container. It stands 5 3/4" high and is 3 3/4" wide. It has a rolled lip and would have taken a cork. Flasks such as this were commonly used by the medical department, containing ether or chloroform. A similar example is in the Phillips Relic book (see pictures). This piece would go well with the Anesthesia Inhaler that I have listed on the website. This piece is in very nice condition with a nice aged patina. (SOLD)
