This tin cup measures 5 1/2" high, with a diameter of 3 3/4" on top and tapering to 2 1/2" at the base. It retains its original tin lid with the lifting ring. All the seams are soldered, which is correct for the era. It is very rare to find these period cups with the lid, and the lifting ring, being just soldered on, never remains. It would go great in a display of a soldiers personal effects.
