Small child’s pocket book. This little book is titled “I am Afraid I have a Soul”, and other stories. It measures 4 ½” x 3 ¼” and was published by The American Tract Society, New York. There is no copyright date, but it is definitely circa 1850’s. An interesting little hard cover book that really sheds a new light on religion during the 19^th century. There are illustrations in the book and on the back page in old brown period ink is “May 21, 1858” and the initials “A.G.L.”
