19th Century stoneware bottle

Stoneware food bottle. It measures 7 3/4" high and the diameter on the bottom is 3 1/4". It is brown glazed pottery (the base only slightly glazed from the runoff). It is in very condition, showing the crudeness of the early manufacturing process. There is a little knick by the lip, but appears to have been there forever. These early pottery jars work well in a camp display or ideal for displaying silk flowers or in a country kitchen.
