Civil War soldiers Knife and Fork set. The knife measures 9 1/4" long and the fork 7 1/4" long. They both have bone handles held together by two pins. During the Civil War, many soldiers would bring their own eating utensils from home or they would purchase tin generic types from the camp sutler. This is a nice solid set, only having some slight surface rust which can be cleaned if desired. I am listing it with a low reserve, so take advantage to add it to your Civil War collection. It would make a nice addition to a display of a soldiers personal effects.
