Specifications
Confederate $20.00 bill (T303). It is a COC (Cut out Cancelled) note and is dated April, 1863 with a hand written number of “184559”. It has the Tennessee State Capital at Nashville in center and Alexander Stephens, vice president of the CSA on the right and has a Blue Reverse. Many CSA notes have been cut-cancelled or cut-out-cancelled to indicate that they were paid and collected by the government. This is different than damage or repairs because it was intentional. These notes, especially clean cut-cancels as this one is, are attractive and desirable in their own right. It is in very nice condition, no creases or tears and the colors still remain vibrant….very little fading. This is an excellent opportunity to own a piece of Confederate history.
