Civil War era Patriotic Pencils. The small cardboard box measures 6” x 1 ½” and is covered in a thin paper with stars and stripes. Inside the box are five paper wrapped slate pencils with the same design as the box. There is some very minor staining to the box but the colors only show signs of slight fading. Once in awhile you can find some of these patriotic pencils being sold individually, but very seldom a complete box….the box being rarer then the pencils. (SOLD)
