Product Description

This is a dropped Confederate .58 caliber Gardner bullet. It was recovered along with a few others by local resident Rich Wajda on private property on the west side of Gettysburg, near the Fairfield Road (see yellow circle on map). This area was near the Confederate position along Seminary Ridge and the Fairfield Road and was also used as the Confederate retreat route after the battle. The bullet comes with the glass-top display case pictured.
